KPM Franklin was contracted by the City of Kissimmee to provide land surveying, civil engineering design and landscape architectural design services to develop a site for a fire station and community center on 9.14 acres in Kissimmee, Florida.
Site improvements include a parking lot with drive aisles, driveway connections, sidewalks, stormwater pond and secondary stormwater collection and conveyance system. Offsite improvements include widening Remington Pointe Blvd. to accommodate a fire lane.
The land surveying scope of work included boundary and topographic surveys. The civil engineering design scope of work included permitting assistance, construction documents, overall site plan, erosion control plan, paving and grading, utility coordination, stormwater management, stormwater pollution prevention and project management. Landscape architectural design services included a landscape plan with a planting schedule and specifications.
