KPM Franklin was contracted by the City of Kissimmee to provide land surveying, civil engineering design and landscape architectural design services for renovating a building site and basketball court at the Chambers Park Community Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
Site improvements included designing upgrades to the existing stormwater drainage system to alleviate flooding, reconstructing sidewalks to be ADA compliant, replacing an asphalt surface at one end of a basketball court with concrete to match the rest of the surface, relocating a metal pole for a basketball goal and restriping the basketball court.
The land surveying scope of work included boundary, topographic, as-built and construction layout surveys. The civil engineering design scope of work included construction documents, permitting assistance and construction phase services. Landscape architectural design services included a landscape plan and planting schedule.
