Survey FDOT Right-of-Way Mapper – Kissimmee Office

Desired Project Management Expertise
• Perform QA/QC of FDOT right of way control surveys and maps
• Assist with managing FDOT projects
• Ensure compliance with FDOT CAD standards and all other FDOT policies and procedures
• Prepare sketch and legal descriptions
• Train staff in FDOT right-of-way mapping procedures and CAD standards
• Perform QA/QC reviews of survey and mapping products to ensure data is processed at a high-level of geometric accuracy according to Standards of Practice in Chapter 5j-17 of the Florida Administrative Code
Education, Experience and Software Requirements
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum 2-5 years of FDOT right-of-way mapping experience
• Knowledge of FDOT surveying and mapping policies and procedures
• Proficient with Geopak, MicroStation SS4, MicroStation and OpenRoads software
Desired Skills and Experience, but not required
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in land surveying or related field
• Professional surveyor and mapper (PSM) Florida license
• NSPS certified survey technician (CST) certification
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• LiDAR processing and/or extraction software experience

Travel: Occasional travel to client meetings and project sites
Pay: $70,000 to $90,000 annual salary
