Survey Project Manager - Kissimmee Office
Project Management Responsibilities
• Manage projects from start to finish
• Lead survey crews responsible for collecting field data and CAD technicians responsible for drafting, reviewing and finalizing sets of survey and mapping documents
• Write proposals, submit contracts, track labor activities
• Perform research and prepare sketch and legal descriptions
• Check survey calculations and notes collected by field crews
• Understand boundary surveys, topographic surveys, wetland surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, construction layout and staking, plats right of way mapping, right of way control surveys, engineering design surveys, route surveys, utility mapping, subdivision plats, condominium plats and documents, as-built surveys and aerial control surveys
• Perform QA/QC reviews of survey and mapping products to ensure data is processed at a high-level of geometric accuracy according to Standards of Practice in Chapter 5j-17 of the Florida Administrative Code
• Train CAD techs and field crews
Education, Experience and Software Requirements
• High school diploma or GED certificate minimum,
• Minimum 5 years of survey project management experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Desired Skills and Experience, but not required
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in land surveying or related field
• Professional surveyor and mapper (PSM) Florida license
• Certified survey technician (CST) certification
• Geopak, MicroStation SS4, MicroStation and OpenRoads software experience
• FDOT Work Group 8 surveying and mapping standards and procedures experience
• Understanding of latest technology related to aerial, mobile and terrestrial LiDAR
• Experience using LiDAR processing and/or extraction software

Job Type: Full-time
Travel: Occasional travel to client meetings and project sites
Pay: $75,000 to $125,000 annual salary
