Celebrate National Engineer’s Week with KPM Franklin

This week, KPM Franklin celebrates National Engineer’s Week, or EWeek, now through February 26, 2022.

Founded by NSPE in 1951, EWeek is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers.

Today, this national awareness week is a formal coalition of more than 70 engineering, education and cultural societies, and more than 50 corporations and government agencies. Dedicated to advocating the positive contributions engineers make in our communities, EWeek promotes recognition among parents, teachers and students of the importance of a technical education and a high level of math, science and technology literacy.

At KPM Franklin, the name of the game for engineering is civil. Our team is comprised of individuals with engineering experience and education from across the state, nation and world. We proudly staff nine licensed professional civil engineers, six engineering project managers and a support team of ten project engineers and technicians.

Our team has American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) members, including ASCE of East Central Florida’s current president elect, Tonya Mellen, PE. ASCE provides a network of career connections, technical resources, continuing education opportunities and industry-specific publications.

Each year, EWeek reaches thousands of schools, businesses and community groups across the country. KPM Franklin is proud to support current and future engineers.

Happy EWeek!
