Civil Professional Engineer (PE) / Office Lead – Orlando Office

KPM Franklin is a rapidly growing civil engineering and land surveying firm that is seeking a full-time professional engineer (PE) licensed in Florida to establish and lead a third Central Florida location for our firm. Ideal candidates are entrepreneurs with civil engineering design, permitting and project management experience in Central Florida working on large commercial, retail, professional office and industrial/warehouse and developments. Before opening the new location, this person will be located in our Orlando office and manage projects for current and new clients with occasional travel to client meetings and project sites. Desired Project Management Expertise
• Skilled in land development site design analysis, scheduling, financial and material resources management, leading internal teams and coordinating calls and meetings with clients and subconsultants
• Large commercial development and retail project experience
• Professional office and industrial/warehouse development project experience
• Permitting experience in Central Florida with city and county agencies
• Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) permitting experience
• Paving, grading, drainage, water, sewer and utility design experience
• Construction administration, observation and certification experience

Education, Experience and Software Requirements
• B.S. in civil engineering
• Must have Florida professional engineer (PE) license
• Minimum 5 years of civil site and drainage design experience
• Proficient producing construction plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D
