KPM Franklin is honored to have four talented University of Central Florida (UCF) civil engineering student interns working at our Orlando office during their spring semester, Vete Derisse, Alex Wenzel, Gaby Valladares and Victoria Atencio. Each arrives with a unique background, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, making them valuable additions to our team.
We work with UCF’s College of Civil Engineering and Computer Science to provide our student interns with opportunities to apply what they are learning in the classroom in a professional setting while working on real projects. Our interns gain hands-on experience while sharpening their technical abilities and interpersonal skills such communication, critical thinking and time management.
Our collaboration with UCF is more than just a program; it’s an investment in the future of the engineering profession. We believe that real-world experience empowers students and helps develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their careers.
During their time with us, our interns work alongside experienced engineers on a range of private and public projects. This practical experience provides them with valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering firm.
