KPM Franklin Participates in the 2021 Florida Construction Career Days

KPM Franklin is proud to be supporting Florida’s future by participating in this year’s Florida Construction Career Days, now entirely virtual.

The nationwide educational outreach program is designed to cultivate interest in high school students for a wide variety of skilled construction careers. The local events give students the chance to get a feel for the field by participating in activities like operating machinery and speaking to experienced industry veterans.

Historically, this event has been hosted in person and split between five different regions of the state. This year, with an abundance of caution, the event has moved entirely online. This allows for the event content to be shared statewide and the breadth of the event is much larger, with resources being available to students throughout the year.

The virtual event will feature an extensive gallery of immersive videos, interactive experiences, informative activities, insights from industry experts, contests, scholarships and 360 visuals.

KPM Franklin provided an exclusive peak of our project survey team, with insights from Jay Pulice, director of survey operations. Our video shares a little about who we are and what we do, as well as career options and emerging technology within the industry.

KPM Franklin was among several Florida based companies and agencies to make this event possible for students statewide, including the Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Transportation Builders Association, the Suncoast Utility Contractors Association, the National Association of Women in Construction and the Federal Highway Administration.
