KPM Franklin was contracted by Florida Discount Self Storage to provide land surveying, civil engineering design and landscape architectural design services to develop a 26.6-acre site on U.S. Highway 27 that includes eight storage buildings.
On-site improvements include asphalt parking and drive aisles, two retention ponds, three dumpster pads and enclosures, bike racks, concrete sidewalks, ADA ramps and other associated site infrastructure.
Land surveying services included ALTA/NSPS land title survey, boundary survey, topographic survey, tree location. The civil engineering scope of work includes permitting assistance, construction documents, paving and grading, drainage, water and sewer, storm water pollution prevention, utility coordination, construction administration and project management. Landscape architecture services include landscape design plan, planting schedule and specifications.
