Project Summary
KPM Franklin was contracted by Ecoplexus to provide civil engineering, land surveying and landscape architecture services to develop a site for a 74.5 MW photovoltaic solar power plant on 693 acres in Bradley Junction, Florida.
Civil engineering services included an overall site plan, existing conditions and demolition plan, paving and grading plan, gravel roadway and paved driveway design, drainage plan, stormwater management plan, stormwater pollution prevention plan, soil erosion best management practices plan, Polk County and Florida Department of Environmental Protection pre-application meetings and permitting assistance, FEMA MT-2 modeling and permitting assistance, construction administration and associated site infrastructure.
Land surveying services included topographic, wetland crossing and wetland location surveys.
