KPM Franklin has been contracted by Southcrest Management to provide civil engineering and landscape architecture services for site development of the NorthStar Academy charter school in St. Petersburg, Florida. The 22,200 square-foot building will house 600 students in grades 6-12. Additional services include site planning, conceptual engineering, civil engineering design, stormwater design, landscape design, permitting assistance and construction phase services. The site development also includes construction of surface parking and access drives, a wet pond to treat and attenuate stormwater runoff, and utility infrastructure to support the building.
