Tis the Season for Giving Back

KPM Franklin kicked off the 2021 holiday season of giving with back-to-back events for our charity of choice, UCP of Central Florida.

UCP of Central Florida has served our local community for over 60 years. KPM Franklin has been part of their continued growth, literally, by providing civil engineering, surveying and landscape architecture services for recent new campus builds.

UCP rises to support the increasing need for services including therapy, education, support and even more specialized programs, with campuses in Downtown Orlando, Kissimmee, Pine Hills, East Orlando, Lake Mary and Winter Garden.

Help for the Holidays

UCP of Central Florida’s Help for the Holidays program is making the season bright by supporting 85 UCP families, including 229 children! The program includes their Adopt-a-Family Initiative, which gives a family the confidence and resources to give their children a special holiday experience. UCP and donating participants provide them with holiday essentials such as toys, gifts and decorations.

KPM Franklin is proud to take part in this season of giving program and has adopted two families, with children ranging from 4 months to 14 years.  We checked and fulfilled their wish lists to make their holidays one to remember.

Faces Behind the Miracles Breakfast

Above, KPM Franklin’s Greg Nixon, Adriannis Suarez, Alex Goetz, Mitch Hill, Hunter Nimmo and Carson Kelly attend this year’s breakfast at First Baptist Orlando.

The annual Faces Behind the Miracles Breakfast supports UCP’s mission of being a safe place for families of children with and without disabilities. The funds raised during this event will help join these families together in a community of over 3,500 children where everyone experiences success – even if success looks different for every child.

Their success comes from the help of comprehensive services at their eight locations in Central Florida.

We are proud to support these children as they unlock their potential.
