KPMF was contracted by Schenkel Shultz to provide civil engineering and land surveying services for the School District of Osceola County’s Island Village Elementary School located on 10.5 acres in Celebration, Florida. The scope includes bus and car loops, parking, space planning for covered play and open play fields and associated site infrastructure. Construction was completed in 2023.

The site design was completed in 2019 but revised in 2021 and 2022 after the school site property boundaries were reconfigured. KPMF’s project scope included providing permitting assistance, construction plan design and administrative services during construction. KPMF also designed an onsite drainage collection and conveyance system which connects to an offsite drainage system at the property line.
